1. Who is responsible for your data?

Madlen Medina Rivas, based in Gubener str. 43, 10243 Berlin, is responsible for processing your personal data.

2. What data do I collect and why?

When you sign up for my mailing list, I collect your email address to send you occasional updates about my work, gatherings and services.

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. How is your data processed?

I use Google Forms and Google Sheets, provided through Google Workspace, to collect and manage subscription requests and Google Gmail to send emails.

Google processes personal data in connection with these services in accordance with the applicable contractual terms. Depending on the services and settings used, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

I take reasonable steps to protect your personal data and restrict access to it. I do not sell your personal data.

4. How long is your data stored?

I retain your email address while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, I will stop sending you emails and delete your address unless retaining limited information is necessary to comply with legal obligations or document your consent or its withdrawal.

5. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [your email address]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority in Germany.
